SYNOPSIS

In 1902, a “mad woman” who witnessed the slaughter of her family during the gruesome Philippine-American war turns out to be a spy for the Filipino revolutionaries.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

The story elevates the voices and experiences of marginalized women, challenging traditional gender roles and highlighting their crucial role in resistance movements. Despite immense suffering and loss, they find the strength to resist oppression and fight for their freedom. This highlights the indomitable human spirit and the power of resistance even in the face of overwhelming odds.
